I went through all the Camtasia forums, Google Search, and YouTube contents, but I have not found any solution or workaround anywhere. In this post, I’ll share quick steps to enable you to make custom assets having Quick Properties. However, they allow this for assets that are downloaded from the Techsmith Camtasia assets library. As a result, we can share assets but we can not customize quickly. But like many Camtasia users, I also terribly miss the feature to add Quick Properties to the custom groups, assets, or templates.

Now, we can create a video template and share it with the team to build consistent and professional videos quickly. In the Add to Library dialog, select a Library from the dropdown.Techsmith Camtasia 2020 introduces a video template.

Select the asset and click Open on Windows and Import on Mac.

In Camtasia, select File > Library > Import Media to Library or drag and drop the asset into the Library.

Add a Device Frame effect to the timeline to access the device frame properties. The device frames are added to the Type dropdown in the properties.

To access themes, select File (Windows) or Camtasia (Mac) > Manage Themes or select a theme in the Theme dropdown in the Properties panel.

The asset packs are located in the User Library section.

To access asset packs, click Library tab > Library dropdown.

The template is located in the Template Manager.

To access templates, select File > New Project from Template.

Hover your cursor over an asset to preview it.

Go to the TechSmith Assets website and sign in with your TechSmith Account.
